To be honest, I’m still debating about who to bring as a third GTRO character between Terrence/Nate (shown here) and Amon, the Ranger. So here’s Terrence first. For the sake of GTRO, he’s simply a Maestro who grew up around Shadow Chasers, hence the attire underneath the big, red robe. I thought to do pictures of both and decide later. Terrence first.

GTRO scavenger hunt thing. “Hunt and cook a minorous in Sphinx B4 for a Kafra/GM of your choice.” I chose Husi, who wanted her meat singed and still on fire.

Joey and them in OC-verse come from a shonen/martial arts series, so it was a guilty pleasure to finally do pics of Joey in a fight scene setting. That’s Frost Diver -> Lightning-charged Spell Fist, by the way. ~~And yes, Joey did punch the minorous through 4 floors of Sphinx. I’m sorry.~~

This comic did have dialogue in the last two panels, but I cut it out to let the pictures speak for themselves. I picture them saying something like,

Joey: Singed and still on fire, right?
Husi: The meat, not the minorous!

Somehow, everything worked out in the end!

GTRO Scavenger Hunt thing. “Bring back someone who has the same first letter as your name.” The only other person in GTRO that has a name that starts with ‘J’ is Jala the Sniper. Luckily for me, Joey and Jala met before so I didn’t have to go through the same awkward motions of “Hi, can I please use your character, blahblahblah.”

Anyway, Joey and Jala met when they were children. The funny thing is that Joey was the outspoken one and Jala was the shy one. Funny how times have changed since then! And then there’s Sana watching jealously in the background.

☯ : Genderbent headcanon

I have to confess about these genderbend headcanons - for one NaNoWriMo, I had genderbent all of my guys to make a magical girl story. The story ended up being some terrible fantasy/action/survivalist story, but that’s why these genderbend exist so easily.

Anyway, Joey!Genderbend is named Tsubame Hikiri, who was the story’s protagonist. She’s 5’2” and has a small, though muscular ectomorph build. (More muscular than these pics, though.) Don’t let her build fool you, though! Her superhuman strength is about the same as male!Joey. In her story, she was doing stuff like lifting 3-story tall demons, bending and breaking metal… stuff like that. Her smaller body gives her the advantage of being more mobile. On the flip side, her magic is weaker and she can’t take a hit like male!Joey can, so she relies more on martial arts and physical combat. Her personality is the same as little!Joey in that she’s more vocal about her opinions. She has a blunt manner of speaking and is generally a nice, giving person. Though she’s down on herself and prone to fits of self-doubt, she’s there when it counts. So yeah. Her personality is about the same as male!Joey, but her battle attributes are different. She is currently a Monk on RO.

⋆ : Sex headcanon

Sex is actually a big deal for Joey, because he’s been raped when he was a child in both RO and OC canon. It took him a very long time to open up to the idea of sex, mainly a combination of feeling dirty and ugly, and a fear of being touched. Eventually he opened up to the idea that he wasn’t dirtying her. For his stoic, down-on-himself personality, Joey is actually a romantic and a seme. Very much the romantic dinner -> consensual sex -> cuddling type. I picture Joey to be the tender, gentle and loving type - the kind of person who takes things slowly and always considerate to Sana. He likes long foreplay and especially slow, gentle kisses - heck, he uses his mouth a lot. He’s possessive of Sana and is not big on things like threesomes. He wants sex to be something romantic and special and is scared at the idea of hurting her. He is also fine with just being the seme; he’s still not big on being on the bottom due to reasons.

☻ : Mood headcanon

Akito is pretty similar to how he is in Air Gear. Generally cheerful and perky, but he also has a cheeky side to his personality. His default mood is happy and smiling, though when upset, he tends to clam up and sulk like a child. He’s an optimistic person who tries to see the positive side of life; however, a combination of this side of his personality, his impatience and his perchance for get-rich-quick schemes often lands him in trouble.

☮ : Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon

OC Joey lives in a garage shed outside of the main mansion. There are several reasons why he lives outside, ranging from escaping his abusive, adopted father, to the fact he feels more secure in quarters by himself. He has a bunkbed in one corner of the room, and a large, flat-screen television on the other, where he plays video games… mostly fighting games. The east side of the room has a single chest of drawers for all his clothes, and the rest of the room has various bookshelves where he keeps a collection of books, mostly martial arts books. There is also a working bathroom in the back of the garage. He does go into the main house to eat, but he avoids going inside as much as possible.

In RO, I picture Gray to own a large mansion for himself and his guildies. (This is probably the same mansion in OC-verse. xD) Joey has a room to himself on the second floor full of bookshelves. Unlike in OC-verse, his bed is a window nook about the width of a couch. Yes it gets drafty during the cold, but Joey likes colder weather so it works perfectly for him.

I picture him as the rough, passionate type. OC Teremy is a telekinetic, and he can only move objects he can see. (He uses shockwave energy to hit anything out of his line of sight.) Going by this logic, he would use mirrors and telekinesis while the rest of him is busy… er, I’ll leave off at that. Sorry. >_>;

☯ : Genderbent headcanon

I’m kinda cheating with these because I made a story where I genderbent all my chars. Anyway, OC Christian is actually a gunner/martial artist, and genderbent Christian is no exception. His female side is a gunner named Heidi. Her outfit looks more or less like a green and white version of a Sniper from Ragnarok Online. She has green eyes, and green hair with a large bang to the side, and is above her shoulders and flat in the back. She’s about 5’5” and leans towards a more stocky, sturdy build.

She’s not much different than male!Christian. She is a cheerful person who is clingy to people she likes, but takes fighting seriously. Still has a brother (sister?) complex towards Joey. Unlike Christian, she relies more on her guns than martial arts. Like Christian, she is an anti-mage gunner - her specialized bullets have the ability to incapacitate her victim’s magic… that is, if she didn’t shoot anywhere fatal.

I feel bad about Amon. I wanted to put him in GTRO, but the choice was between him and Terrence, and Terrence won out in the end. Maybe I’ll honor Amon with lots of pictures or something. (Is that really an honor, though?) Anyway, I put answers under a cut because replies became really long.

Note that this is RO Amon, rather than Vandal Hearts Amon. Both are very different!

☾ : Sleep headcanon

His most common sleeping position is curled up on his side in a fetal position, using his warg, Emmy, as a pillow. When Emmy was a falcon, Amon used to hug a pillow instead. Amon’s also notorious for drooling in his sleep, much to Emmy’s annoyance.

☼ : Childhood headcanon

Amon’s real name is Miguel Amon Leen, and he was born in Einbroch. He is the oldest of three siblings. His younger brother is the middle child, and his sister is the youngest. His mom was from Amatsu and his father is a blacksmith from Einbroch. Mom died shortly after the sister was born and since then, Dad was never the same.

Being the oldest, Amon was raised with the intent to take over the family’s smithing business. Unfortunately for Amon, his long limbs, large hands and natural clumsiness caused him to make more accidents than successes, and his father beat him for every failure. Amon did have an interest in machinery and a vague interest in weapons, though that calling was not for him. He went through the days always trying his best in order to appease his father, and to make sure that his siblings would not suffer the same fate should Amon quit.

One day, a Hunter came to the smithy. Curious as to why smithies don’t make bows, Amon chased down the Hunter. Said Hunter happily passed on his knowledge to Amon, including how to make a bow and arrows, and how to shoot. Since then, Amon fell in love with archery. However, his father saw archery as nothing more than a distraction. When Amon was 14, his siblings encouraged him to pursue his passion, rather than stay home for their sakes. Though he had a heavy heart, Amon left home to become an Archer. As to how Amon got his name? He wanted to change his name to forge a new identity, and while wondering what to call himself, (“My middle name is Amon…”) the person at registration heard ‘Amon’ and put that down as his first name.

Amon’s RO history is vaguely based off of a Vandal Hearts fic I had ages ago. The only difference is that VH Amon became conscripted in the army, rather than that he left home willingly.

☯ : Genderbent headcanon

I tried to picture Amon himself genderbent, rather than Amon as ‘Christian’s Ranger.’ As a result? Er…

What caught me (and Abeat) as strange is that although Amon was abused as a child, he seemed to have no emotional scars. Instead, he’s happy to the point it seems borderline psychotic. I know that he has a darker, colder side to him, as when he goes into his Hunter Trance Mode(tm), he becomes cold, emotionless, quiet and completely focused – a complete 180 from usual.

Genderbent Amon? Well, she’s the colder side of Amon. She took being beaten quite personally. Rather than passively leave home, trusting that her siblings would be okay, she plotted her father’s murder. After her father made his last mistake, she bludgeoned him with a hammer on the head, killing him instantly. She then took her siblings and went into hiding, only coming out of hiding to hunt for food. Her personality is cold and quiet, her speaking manner blunt and rude, with a wild look in her eye that she would kill anyone without hesitation if anyone crossed her or her siblings’ paths. Deep down, she’s a scared child who wants to be happy and cheerful like she used to be. So in other words, her personality is reversed from Amon’s, who is normally cheerful and hides his murderous intentions.

Where did that come from?

♤ : Cooking headcanon

Being a Ranger, Amon is good at barbequing and roasting things over an open fire. This goes from hunted game, or cooking rice and/or vegetables in a hot pot.

☻ : Mood headcanon

As said above, Amon is normally very cheerful. He’s also child-like, like a big kid. He seems simple on the outside, but is actually a deep thinker with a high amount of existential knowledge. He’s actually an omnivert – although he’s fine by himself, he loves being around people and being the center of attention. He’s proud of his archery skills and fancies himself as cool. (Not sure if he actually thinks this about himself, or he just wishes he was cool.) He is possessive and protective of Sara, the love of his life. Having almost lost her before, he has become almost overprotective of her as a result. Once Amon has an idea in his head, it’s hard to get him to listen because he’s often convinced he’s right. It seems like the only time he’s bothered by anything is when he doesn’t understand something. But if you look deep down, there’s something odd about his happy demeanor, almost like he’s covering for something else.

His other personality, which comes out when he’s in Ranger mode.

Suddenly, his cheerful demeanor vanished without a trace. He becomes cold, quiet and completely focused like he’s in a trance. If he does speak, his voice has dropped to a much deeper pitch. The look in his eyes changed from a child-like gleam to a wild look that would shoot anyone who crosses his path. He comes out of this personality when he’s done hunting. I figure this side must be all of his pent-up frustrations and anger.

So anyway…

☠ : Drinking/drunk headcanon

Going into OC territory a bit here, Terrence is not a big consumer of alcohol. If he does order alcohol, it’s most likely a tequila sunrise. Having said that, is the violent type of drunk.

Whether putting on a friendly, nonchalant face, or revealing his cold, harsh interior, Terrence is a reserved person who has great control over his words and emotions. His negativity manifests as harsh, choice words underneath a venomous smile at worst. When he’s drunk, the gloves come off, and Terrence reveals the arrogance and haughtiness he tries very hard to conceal.

Terrence won’t actively go looking for a fight. He’s more of the kind of person to sit at the bar, hunched over and stare at his drink. However, the slightest amount of provocation will ignite a fight. On the other hand, if Graham Yeung is in the vicinity, Terrence, due to his inferiority complex towards his elder half brother, will pick a fight almost immediately.

RO Terrence is an archer either as a Shadow Chaser or a Maestro, so I have no idea how bar fights with him will go. OC Terrence, on the other hand, combines superhuman strength (mostly due to his chi control) and various DBZ-esque chi blasts. His main styles are Wu Shu and Tai Chi (as a martial art) but he also knows Dim Mak, so his fights will hardly end pretty.

A description of the Ace of Swords from here is “The Ace of Swords shows the beginning of a situation whose potential is as double-edged as the blade of the sword itself. The Ace implies the use of great power, even excessive power at times, to further one’s ends but what is not clear is how those powers will be used, or what it is that you are trying to achieve.” I took this meaning here.

Realizing that I usually do Gray’s hair from one certain angle, I had him face the other way. Happy birthday to Dynamo, an awesome guy and friend! ~~Even though his birthday was on the 12th, I’m a day late and this is just some chicken scrawl. Sorry about that!~~ Some of you who frequent RO Story might know him as Dynamo there too.

This is supposed to be his Paladin (though Royal Guard in-game), Dynamo de Gaza. His profile said blue hair, though his in-game sprite has purple hair. I used purple in the end.
