Allo! I'm Adeat and this is an art blog to post everything from doodles to nicer stuff. Most of the stuff here is Ragnarok Online-related, though there's some other stuff, too. Hope you enjoy your stay!

I assume you mean OC Teremy instead of RO Teremy? Okay…

1. What does their bedroom look like?

His room is fairly small and cozy. Has floorboards instead of carpet. At the back-right corner of his room sits a pile of five old matresses joined together by a bed frame. The frame is broken at the bottom; Teremy nailed the bottom and sides to the wall and floor to keep the matresses in place. On top of the matresses are seven blankets and six pillows. At the foot of the bed is an old two-tier chest of drawers he uses as a shelf to prop his violin and viola cases and sheet music on. On the left side of the room is his closet which has his clothes. To the right and adjacent to the bed is a chest of drawers that has the rest of his clothes.

2. Do they have any daily rituals?

Groaning at the Aunt Jocelyn alarm every morning.

3. Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?

Beating up gangs every day. Aside from that, he trains on his own time for 1/2 hour to an hour a day, depending on what his schedule is like. He has to fit in piano/viola practice and school too. His aunt makes him train, too. 555 Torture Rack…

4. What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?

Wait until the kitchen frees up. If he gets too hungry, he’ll grab something from the fridge.

5. Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)

Cleans room once a week on his aunt’s orders. He’s learned to put things in its proper place due to her incessant nagging.

6. Eating habits and sample daily menu

Whatever he hates to eat he will swallow whole (in reasonable size). Whatever he can’t swallow whole he won’t eat. Breakfast and dinner are whatever his aunt makes, lunch is whatever looks less toxic in the cafeteria. He decides food between whatever will fill him up first, then the healthier choice. (The former takes precidence.)

7. Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time

Whenever he’s depressed, he plays the piano for hours on end until he feels better.

8. Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging

His closest indulgence is drowning his sorrows in piano…does that count?

9. Makeup?

Never.

10. Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?

His extreme thoughts often take on personifications: a cynical voice that knows better, a younger version of himself that still has hopes and dreams, and a nagging shoulder angel that constantly tells him to behave. He doesn’t believe himself to be neurotic; he recognises the cynical voice (Mr. Skeptic) and the small voices as his cynicism and optimism - which is what they are. The nagging shoulder angel is the personification of his aunt.

11. Intellectual pursuits?

Classical music. He was raised on classical music as a means to curb his temper. He plays violin, viola and piano. His main instrument is the piano, of which he plays at Grade 12 level.

12. Favorite book genre?

Likes to read books on music history/theory and mythology.

13. Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?

Straight. His thoughts are that people of any orientation can do what they want as long as people leave him alone. That was before he met Livi.

14. Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)

Physical training involves breaking down muscles and having them repair. A side effect of him having accelerated healing is that his muscles will repair within an hour at longest. Thus he is abnormally strong/muscular for someone his age.

15. Biggest and smallest short term goal?

Biggest short term goal is to help his aunt. (Avoiding Justice spoilers here!) Smallest short term goal is a tie between mastering whatever music piece he is learning, and beating up whatever gang crosses his path.

16. Biggest and smallest long term goal?

Biggest long term goal is to discover his purpose in life. Smallest long term goal is to discover what ‘the right thing to do’ is.

17. Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress

Anything black and red (to quote Livi, “[…] black and depressing, just like you!”). Long, baggy shirts, hoodies, baggy pants…baggy clothes in general. To his annoyance, his school blazer is too small but he can’t afford another one. Choosing clothes is a matter of grabbing whatever’s clean and closest out of the closet.

18. Favorite beverage?

No preference.

19. What do they think about before falling asleep at night?

He’s more of the kind to try shutting off his mind before falling asleep. If his mind has too many thoughts, he will wake up preemptively thinking them.

20. Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?

The closest thing he’s had to a childhood illness is his dyna (the term for a special power - everyone has one in his city) being excessively powerful to the point he can’t control it. In Teremy’s case, it’s his telekinesis.

On the day he was born, his dyna caused tremors around the hospital. Since then, his dyna continued growing in power until setting at age 9, the average age a dyna sets. Dyna limiters are created using government issued magic binding. For Teremy, those became the equivalent of putting a lid on a boiling pot of water and he tends to break limiters whenever he uses his dyna excessively. His aunt, Jocelyn, believed his dyna outbursts were due to his short temper and made him try various activities to give him an outlet. She made him do soccer, lacrosse and track. He hated organized sports, mainly because he’d get into fights with the other kids.

Aunt Jocelyn lives/works at a music store called Music Notes. Teremy grew up around classical music. He took a liking to piano, much to his aunt’s relief. Though piano became his method of curbing his temper, it did little to stop his dyna’s outbursts. Aunt Jocelyn bandaided this problem by secretly attempting to contain the blasts herself. As the years passed, she grew increasingly tired. Justice begins on the day she can’t handle his outbursts any longer…

21. Turn-ons? Turn-offs?

Once he met Livi, he is turned on by everything about her. A Livi-sexual? Turn-offs include excessively thin and/or haughty girls. (Narissa Dove, anyone?)

22. Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

The paper will become filled with dot marks from him tapping the pencil.

23. How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life?

Keeps things in proper place. Teremy starts Justice as rather narrow-minded in that things are what they are without thinking of any meaning behind it. Gangs are gangs, people are idiots and he’s a threat to society. Why put something out of the proper place? Throughout Justice, he learns to get out of his narrow-minded box.

24. Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?

Music. He isn’t a prodigy so much as that he loves music and spends most of his time practicing. Even though music history is a mandatory requirement in learning music, he reads on his own time.

25. How do they see themselves 5 years from today?

At the beginning of Justice, he thought that one day, his aunt would die and her death was all his fault. His morbid vision of the future changes as he begins to learn his purpose in life…

26. Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t work out?

At the beginning of Justice, he vaguely planned to have a career as a concert pianist, but only because he didn’t know what else he wanted to do. Later in life, he does find out…

27. What is their biggest regret?

Being born.

28. Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?

His best friend is Alex Fiore. He considers Alice a friend, though not a best friend.

He sees himself as his worst enemy.

29. Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?)

Save everyone, even if it costs him his life. He’s had a lot of close scrapes, but he does save people.

30. Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies)

Shock and numbness is his first reaction. He’ll do whatever he can to help. If there is nothing he can do, he becomes quiet, brooding and spends a lot of time on the piano.

31. Most prized possession?

His iPod. Import items are highly expensive in Geminate.

32. Thoughts on material possessions in general?

Doesn’t think too much about them.

33. Concept of home and family?

His home is his one place he can belong. As for family, he is a strong believer in that his aunt who raised him is his real family. Having been given up from his biological parents since he was a baby, he acts like he could care less about them, believing they never cared for him. He loves his family and is incredibly protective of his aunt.

34. Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?)

A private person. He tends not to ask questions as he believes that it’s none of his business; he only asks whenever it becomes his business. His voices his thoughts in sarcasm. Once in awhile, he might have an outburst in which he shows his true feelings…

35. What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time?

In a strange way, piano, but only as an indulgence. He realizes he wastes time playing from 2-5 am…

36. What makes them feel guilty?

Burdening anyone.

37. Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making?

A bit of both. He’s a hot-head driven by a logical purpose. He learns to think his actions more throughly.

38. Would they consider themselves a Type A or Type B personality?

More Type A. He’s impatient, hates wasting time and makes his own results, rather than waiting for someone else to save him.

39. What recharges them when they’re feeling drained?

Listening to music on his iPod. He has mostly classical music or classical/ambient scores. He is also a fan of Helios.

40. Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither?

He puts on a facade of the former, but definitely the latter. He tends to think he’s never good enough.

41. How misanthropic are they?

Growing up surrounded by gangs, he has a jaded view of society. He thinks DANDY (the police force of Geminate) cares less and most people are scum. Regardless of what he thinks of someone, he will try to save them anyway.

42. Hobbies?

Piano, violin, viola, practices martial arts in the rest of his spare time. He is formally taught in music. Combat he is self taught.

43. How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education?

He is in high school during Justice. He thinks formal education is a waste of time.

44. Religion?

No particular religion.

45. Superstitions or views on the occult?

He is a strong believer in fate. He had no particular views of the occult until he met a certain someone.

46. Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?

100% through deeds. He is clumsy with words that don’t involve sarcasm or trash talk.

47. If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?

Livi.

48. How do they express love?

Through his actions. He plays the piano to cheer her up, holds her close to him, stand protectively in front of her…things like that.

49. If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?

Having being taught martial arts solely through his aunt reciting diagrams, most of his experience comes from fighting gangs. He uses a combination of striking attacks (derived from Bajiquan and Piguaquan, plus some Taekwondo kicks) amplified in power using telekinesis. His technique is rought but gets the job done. He has the motto “Hit ‘em fast, hit ‘em hard, hit ‘em now.” and tries to take his opponent down in as few hits as possible. He tends to hold back his strength. Point in case, he has bent/broken metal in a single strike and punched people through several buildings.

50. Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?

While he throws himself head-first into the line of fire, he is afraid of dying because he still has people he wants to protect. He uses this fear to encourage his will to live.
