…oh hey, look at what came in the mail on Tuesday. It’s a proof copy of Justice, the second Strength & Justice book! Sorry about the shoddy quality. I took these pictures using Surface-chan.

I wrote this book, so I’m a bundle of nerves to think that anyone else is gonna read it. At the same time, I’m really excited. I love to write as much as I love to draw. I started doing both at the same time and I can’t imagine doing without one or the other. Whether or not I can do either well is another story. xD

As you can see, at 490 pages, Justice is almost twice the size of Strength. Where Strength was more of an introduction to the island of Geminate, Justice is when the plot takes off. I actually wrote this at the same time Abeat wrote Strength, hence why it’s out so quickly. I’m checking over the proof now to make sure everything’s okay before the final version comes out.

Justice is slated to go on sale July 2013. I’ll keep you guys posted! In the meantime, you can check out the website here.

Ninalyn requested that this picture get finished. Ever have a picture sitting in your hard drive for years, you look at it again and think that it’s too horrible to finish but you’re too lazy to start over? Though that’s how I feel about the picture, that’s not how I feel about the people represented here.

This scene takes place in Rimy’s inn, presumably during a time it was still open and bustling. I did this picture back in 2011 to show my appreciation for all the friends and acquaintances I had made. I have a difficult time making friends, and I’m really happy when I do make them. I know I have a difficult time showing my appreciation sometimes, so I want to show my appreciation now. Even though I don’t speak to some of you as often anymore, I still think of all of you. Thanks for everything.

☯ : Genderbent headcanon

Terrence as a girl is named Chikame Kinome, the sister of Haruka Kinome, who is Gray’s genderbent headcanon. (In a switch, Chikame is the elder sister, whereas Nate is the younger half brother.) He’s a lot like Homura Akemi. She quietly helps others as a background force, or gives advice. Either her advice is cryptic or brutally harsh. She’s rather quiet, softspoken and serious but is gentle on the inside. A kuudere, I guess? In terms of appearance, Chikame has long, blue hair and is a Mage Knight like her sister, Haruka. She’s also tall for a girl at 5’11”. Chikame specializes in shadow magic.

⋆ : Sex headcanon

RO Terrence is a sex worker by trade. (He calls himself a male escort, a vague term that can mean a male prostitute, though not always.) He does whatever makes his customer happy. On his own, he is always seme, and puts his dexterous hands to good use. The reason he became a Bard in the first place is so he could influence his customers with his songs, so to say, so he uses his songs and sometimes just the sound of his voice to increase stimulation… if that makes any sense. Eh heh.

☄ : Any AU headcanon (modern, school, medieval, and so on)

Terrence is actually a master of shadow magic! In one incarnation of Abeat’s Eternal Pendant universe, a planet called Worgth, magic technology has sucked magic out of the world to the point that magical races, such as dragons and sprites, have became humans. One such technology uses communication spells to simulate the internet. Two brothers descended from Dositue (the dragon race), Graham (in another incarnation) and Nate, find that they are able to astrally project into the internet due to their natural inclination to magic. From there, both scheme to bring back magic and return Worgth back to its natural state. Offline, they are both from a family of martial artists. Online, they are Snowglider and Zorhel. Snowglider is like a battle Priest with holy-based attacks, and Zorhel is like a Warlock with shadow magic. The story is longer than that, combining their real life problems of their father scheming to kill them, versus them scheming to overtake the world.

That incarnation of EP went under due to reasons, mostly my fault, and so did this story. I somewhat salvaged the plot to become their RO story instead.

☄ : Any AU headcanon (modern, school, medieval, and so on)

A long time ago, I had an idea for an Air Gear fanfic. Basically, Agito wakes up to find himself in some tournament to the death, and Akito is nowhere to be found. He soon finds that not only is Kaito the one running the tournament, Akito has his own body and is Kaito’s right-hand lackey. The tournament is an elimination-style tournament, where the only rule of victory is that only one can come out alive. Eventually the victor will face Akito in a one on one battle. Forced to participate in the tournament every night, Agito swears to free Akito from his seemingly hypnotized state. As Agito was born to protect Akito, he is now forced to face his insecurities of being unwanted by the one person he was born to protect.

Something like that! It’s just one of my silly little stories. Eh heh. Dunno if I’ll ever get around to writing it. If I do, I’ll probably keep the story to myself.

To be honest, I’m still debating about who to bring as a third GTRO character between Terrence/Nate (shown here) and Amon, the Ranger. So here’s Terrence first. For the sake of GTRO, he’s simply a Maestro who grew up around Shadow Chasers, hence the attire underneath the big, red robe. I thought to do pictures of both and decide later. Terrence first.

GTRO scavenger hunt thing. “Hunt and cook a minorous in Sphinx B4 for a Kafra/GM of your choice.” I chose Husi, who wanted her meat singed and still on fire.

Joey and them in OC-verse come from a shonen/martial arts series, so it was a guilty pleasure to finally do pics of Joey in a fight scene setting. That’s Frost Diver -> Lightning-charged Spell Fist, by the way. And yes, Joey did punch the minorous through 4 floors of Sphinx. I’m sorry.

This comic did have dialogue in the last two panels, but I cut it out to let the pictures speak for themselves. I picture them saying something like,

Joey: Singed and still on fire, right?
Husi: The meat, not the minorous!

Somehow, everything worked out in the end!

GTRO Scavenger Hunt thing. “Bring back someone who has the same first letter as your name.” The only other person in GTRO that has a name that starts with ‘J’ is Jala the Sniper. Luckily for me, Joey and Jala met before so I didn’t have to go through the same awkward motions of “Hi, can I please use your character, blahblahblah.”

Anyway, Joey and Jala met when they were children. The funny thing is that Joey was the outspoken one and Jala was the shy one. Funny how times have changed since then! And then there’s Sana watching jealously in the background.

☯ : Genderbent headcanon

I have to confess about these genderbend headcanons - for one NaNoWriMo, I had genderbent all of my guys to make a magical girl story. The story ended up being some terrible fantasy/action/survivalist story, but that’s why these genderbend exist so easily.

Anyway, Joey!Genderbend is named Tsubame Hikiri, who was the story’s protagonist. She’s 5’2” and has a small, though muscular ectomorph build. (More muscular than these pics, though.) Don’t let her build fool you, though! Her superhuman strength is about the same as male!Joey. In her story, she was doing stuff like lifting 3-story tall demons, bending and breaking metal… stuff like that. Her smaller body gives her the advantage of being more mobile. On the flip side, her magic is weaker and she can’t take a hit like male!Joey can, so she relies more on martial arts and physical combat. Her personality is the same as little!Joey in that she’s more vocal about her opinions. She has a blunt manner of speaking and is generally a nice, giving person. Though she’s down on herself and prone to fits of self-doubt, she’s there when it counts. So yeah. Her personality is about the same as male!Joey, but her battle attributes are different. She is currently a Monk on RO.

⋆ : Sex headcanon

Sex is actually a big deal for Joey, because he’s been raped when he was a child in both RO and OC canon. It took him a very long time to open up to the idea of sex, mainly a combination of feeling dirty and ugly, and a fear of being touched. Eventually he opened up to the idea that he wasn’t dirtying her. For his stoic, down-on-himself personality, Joey is actually a romantic and a seme. Very much the romantic dinner -> consensual sex -> cuddling type. I picture Joey to be the tender, gentle and loving type - the kind of person who takes things slowly and always considerate to Sana. He likes long foreplay and especially slow, gentle kisses - heck, he uses his mouth a lot. He’s possessive of Sana and is not big on things like threesomes. He wants sex to be something romantic and special and is scared at the idea of hurting her. He is also fine with just being the seme; he’s still not big on being on the bottom due to reasons.
